Mathura Khanal – Chairperson and Advisor

Mathura Khanal is a WWF scholar who completed her Master’s Degree from University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna. Her expertise lies in income generation activities, reproductive health issues, and community forestry. She is an adept researcher who has presented her research at the International Union of Forestry Research Organizations (IUFRO) Conference in the USA, Japan, and Austria.

 


Manjul Bhusal Sharma – Co-founder & Director of Operations

Manjul is an undergraduate student in Economics & Mathematics at Kenyon College. In the summer of 2014, he started Reinstalling Hope with Maher and Mrinal. The team worked in two public schools in Nepal. They taught English and conducted sports training for kids from marginalized families. They also reconstructed the libraries at the schools by collecting books donated by private school students. Manjul has benefited from the support and generosity of others in his own educational pursuits. Thus, he is passionate about doing what he can so that students in need get similar opportunities.

 

Maher Latif
Maher Latif – Co-founder & Director of Operations

Maher is an Economics and Modern Languages double major at Kenyon College. Co-founding Reinstalling Hope has been the single most formative experience in shaping his desire to promote educational reform for the underserved. Fluent in Chinese and Arabic, Maher has sought to combine his passion for cultural exchange and educational reform across all countries and cultures.

Aldis Petriceks - Director of Strategy & Development

Aldis is a Biology major and Chinese minor at Kenyon College. Through his experience with the Biomedical Services Division in the American Red Cross, Aldis saw firsthand the power of dedicated people working for the welfare of others. As an aspiring physician, he hopes to one day solve health issues faced by underserved populations, both urban and rural.

 

Julie France
Julie France – Public Affairs Adviser & Editor

Julie possesses an undergraduate degree in philosophy with four years of experience in journalism. She is passionate about bringing out the stories of marginalized youth in rural Nepal and has even taken on the task of teaching herself Nepali. She is responsible for spreading awareness of Reinstalling Hope’s mission and also assists with grant proposals. She is responsible for all the information released by the organization. Apart from her journalistic interests, Julie is proficient in French and loves to travel.

 


Shraddha Belbase - Program Officer

Shraddha is an undergraduate student at Lindenwood University. She hopes to make education possible for every child be it a boy or a girl in every nook and corner of Nepal. As a Program Officer, Shraddha works towards creating solutions that allow children to pursue higher education regardless of their financial circumstances.

Pariksha Poudel - Program Officer

Pariksha is an undergraduate student in Kathmandu studying civil engineering. As a passionate women’s rights activist Pariksha believes education should be a right for all girls. She has worked towards solutions that educate local Nepali communities on the importance of female empowerment.

Ajeet Bhatta - Program Officer

Ajeet is an undergraduate student in Kathmandu. Ajeet is passionate about improving the Nepalese education system and has years of experience working in educational and developmental non-profits and NGOs across Nepal. As a lead guitarist at The Phrase Band, Ajeet has played at several locations to raise awareness for Reinstalling Hope. 


Shreya Dahal – Web Developer & Head of Event Promotion

Shreya is a student of Computer Engineering at Kathmandu Engineering College. He develops concepts and designs for the website. He is actively developing new ideas on promoting our events.

As a non-profit organization we rely on donations from generous people from around the world to conduct our project, mobilize volunteers and pay the annual school fees and related costs of needy children.

Reinstalling Hope plans to publish all our expenses on our website. We vow to maintain transparent finances. Please give us feedback on how we can work better.

The amount you donate will be used for tuition fees, room and board, transportation, conducting trainings, creating promotional items, books, sports equipment, uniform, lab and exam fees. Please email us if you have further questions.
